Fresh Ginger

We didn't grow this one (yet). I got one from Chue's at the farmers'
market on Tuesday. Stuck it in the dirt. I hope it takes off.

Clathrus ruber

Also called a basket stinkhorn. I thought it was a chewed up dog toy
until I poked it with a stick. Also thought I stepped in poo, so I
checked my shoes a couple times. It was the stinkhorn. No wonder it
was covered in flies.
